Lindesfarne takes pride in breeding, importing, and training superior German Shepherds. We are located just off I-76 & SR3, only 10 minutes from Medina, Ohio, 20 minutes from Akron, Ohio and 45 minutes from Cleveland, Ohio.

Lindesfarne puppies are produced only from dogs with a working title and breed suitability test. Our pedigrees will demonstrate five generations of dogs with hip/elbow certifications, working titles, breed suitability tests, plus several ancestors that have participated in championship events around the world! These dogs produce puppies with excellent temperament.

Mark and Michele Scarberry have been training and competing in the sport of Schutzhund for over 30 years!
Mark has trained and titled 13 dogs to SchH3 FH, and has achieved the USA Master Gold Sport Medal, the SV Master Gold Medal with Diamonds, and the WUSV Klass II Sport Medal. He is classified as a teaching helper, and has served many terms as USA Mid East Regional Director.
Michele has trained 10 dogs to SchH3 FH, numerous dogs to Schutzhund 1,2, and 3 titles, multiple breeds to CD, CDX. She has achieved the USA Master Gold Sport Medal and the SV Master Gold Sport Medal with Diamonds. She has served on the USA Executive board, numerous committees, and is currently the Youth Director of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America.
Their son Dominic entered his first Schutzhund event at the age of 4! At age 8 he achieved an FH title on Gringo v Malsegg SchH3 FH, and at age 11 he achieved his first Handler Owner Trained title with Moose v Lindesfarne SchH3. He won the 2008 Youth Championship with Vimo v Alschbachtal SchH3, and 2009 Mid East Regional Youth Champion with HOT Moose v Lindesfarne SchH3! Dominic has also achieved the rank of club level helper

Our facility accommodates All Breed Dog Obedience Training and Boarding

Our Training is designed exclusively for your individual goals and ability. Our classes teach companion obedience for your household pet. We also offer tracking, obedience, and Schutzhund Sport for those interested in competition. Our Boarding—Your pet will stay in a climate controlled facility. While resting indoors your pet will listen to classical music, and we provide soft comfortable bedding and a variety of treats throughout the day! The kennel runs are 6' x 12' constructed of heavy duty 2"x 9" gauge galvanized wire and are cleaned daily and fresh water is always available. Each pet is taken outdoors four times daily to a private fenced exercise yard. We do not charge extra to administer medication or feeding special diets.
